Commissions - Whimsical Angels
Everyone loves Angels! What other image can best express the sweetness and
purity of spirit that they represent, all rolled up into one lovable package?
My Angel paintings began life as our personal Christmas cards and then into
paintings honoring family members; others to benefit Christian ministries that I support. Many patrons have started to collect them..
You now have the opportunity to commission an Angel to honor (and to delight) your own loved ones. If you would like to commission an Angel, I will need a little input in order to start the engine of
my imagination. After all, my ideas DO have to come from somewhere!.
Here are the essentials I will need from you to get started;

hair
and eye color, and hair texture (curly, straight) -
ethnic background, skin tones

personality traits (placid, playful etc.)

favorite colors
-
favorite holiday
-
favorite pastime or occupation (sports, arts, music etc.)

current age - all my angels depict young girls and boys, even
though most of my children and grandchildren have grown up. I have a 28 year
old son who wants me to paint his Angel. (he will be a little boy!)

color snapshot (2 or 3) 5" x 7" max. Please don't expect an exact
likeness. I strive for the essence.
I will provide you with a Certificate for Provenance, personally written with your Angel's name and story and when the painting was completed. If you have ever seen "Antiques Roadshow", you know why this is so important. If you take proper care of your painting, and if I die rich and famous, you could be worth a bundle!
